Noodler's Rome - Ink Sample

This ink is pretty cool. I got it as a sample but I will probably order more. It has some water resistance but will bleed considerably. The part of the ink that bleeds out is yellow-ish while the ink that is resistant is purple. A really beautiful effect for some artwork. I am using a TWSBI mini with a fine nib. The ink flow is moderate.

Great color; runny for a newbie

I love the color of this ink. It is brown initially but lightens to a lovely gold that does not get greenish like baby food. Very lovely! However, the Noodler’s Inks seem to be thin (runny) which has been hard for me. I am using them with an inexpensive fountain pen and inexpensive quill with metal nib, and I am a newbie, so that might be more of a me problem than the ink.
