Noodler's Bad Blue Heron
I tried samples of Noodler's Bad Belted Kingfisher and Bad Blue Heron. Kingfisher seems a tiny bit darker and a tiny bit bluer when using a Metropolitan fine. Color difference is more apparent when using the stub nib. Both write well with the fine point but seem wetter than the Noodler's Black when using the stub. Kingfisher in my Metal Falcon SEF showed how much wetter it really is than Noodler's Black. However a light touch keeps flow at an acceptable rate. I like both of these blues but prefer the Kingfisher.

Beautiful
This is a beautifully and interesting blue. It's a more aggressive ink in that there is some spread and ghosting on most paper. The color and shading improve with premium papers. And it's definitely not for use on cheap paper. It will likely spread, feather and bleed through. And the color will be dull and less blue.

Too wet and bold for me
I loved the color but it made my fine nib write like a heavy medium and bled through a bit. Seems too have way too much flow. Compared to the Sailor ink and the Organic Studios it's very "fuzzy". This is in my Leuchtturm1917 which is supposed to be more weighty than moleskin to preven bleed-through...I wouldn't dare use less expensive paper with this ink.
