Jacques Herbin Perle Noire - Ink Sample

I love this color!

The Perle Noir is such a cool color. The darker application combined with the lighter shading makes this color great when grey isn’t dark enough but blackout is too dark.

Great everyday ink!

I ordered samples Perle Noire and Aurora Black to try in a Pilot VP (Fine) instead of my current favorite, Namiki Black. This ink is certainly a little bit darker than Namiki Black, flows wonderfully, dries quickly (although slightly slower than Namiki) and feels great to write with! The only con for me is the shading - I prefer a more consistently dark black line. That said, this might be a pro for others.
