Diamine Green/Black - Ink Sample

A really nice green black for my daughter to try

I'm giving this sample (along with 10 others) to my daughter in my attempt to pen-able her. I swatched it and it's a really nice green black. It's the color I was most excited for her to try. (The first sample that was sent had leaked and they were kids enough to send me a replacement, knowing it was a gift. Everyone at Goulet Pens ROCKS!!!)

A lovely dark green but sometimes it's too dark

I think this ink is excellent. The only reason I didn't give it a perfect 5 stars is due to versatility. I think you'll find that on some papers, it looks so dark that the green barely comes through. But who knows, you might disagree. I guess there's only one way to find out - get a sample!

dull

I thought this would be an elegant alternative to black. It's uninteresting to me. And dry. I'll give it away. It might look better in a wet pen, like Diamine's Oxford Blue looks in an Eco. I've used it in a #5 stub.
