De Atramentis Hyacinth - 45ml Scented Bottled Ink

Lovely deep blue; although I was hoping with something a touch redder from the online swatches. It’s still a great ink in the class of baystate blue

Sample was gloriously scented, but the bottle was a let down

I had previously purchased a sample which was bursting with a true-to-life hyacinth fragrance, but when I splurged on a bottle, there was none. Goulet's customer service was outstanding and they went the extra mile to resolve the issue, but I'd be disinclined to order this ink again unless someone did a sniff test first. And it's disappointing that the manufacturing isn't more consistent.
