Beautiful notebook

Clarefontaine paper is wonderful. I haven't started using this notebook yet, but I've used others and they are great. The red color of this notebook is gorgeous, especially on the cloth spine. I've heard people complain about these notebooks not lying flat, but you just have to break it in by bending back a few pages at a time.

Absolute best notebook paper!

I love these notebooks -- glad Goulet Pens has them. Beautiful writing, with either fountain pen or ballpoint.

Inexpensive but unusable

This notebook does not lie flat at all. I found it a struggle just to write in it. I gave up after 30 pages.
