Vintage Mint Fountain Pen

I used to have fountain pens in high school and college. Here I am, 65yo and i thought it would be a nice added gesture when writing Thank you’s and birthday cards. Nice quality writing instruments. Very comfortable in my hand.

Love the pen - hate the duty cost

I ordered these pens, living in Canada however did not realize they shipped from the US. I was quite annoyed by the large duty bill I received however I reluctantly love these pens. The finer nib is my preference ! I ordered two with medium nibs which which are still lovely, particularly if you love adding in more fanciful ink colours ; however I’m kicking myself for not ordering another fine nib for more day to day use. It’s got the perfect combo of a little skritch on the paper when I write and a smooth ink flow. Reluctant bravo.

Beautiful writing instruments

I love fountain pens and have several, including disposable ones. I had a Cross fountain pen purchased several years ago ( and misplaced it). Purchased a Pilot and hated it as it always leaked on my hands. Same for several disposable brands. Did not want to break the bank with my obsession of fountain pens and came across a promotion for Ellington and was able to purchase two pens at a reasonable price. I love these pens! One has a medium nib and the other fine and I find writing with them is extremely comfortable. The pen ink flows smoothly and no more ink ladened fingers. I use them exclusively at work and take many notes while in unending meetings. I am sure I am the envy of many in those meetings as they watch me write with these beautiful pens. Highly recommend!
