Should have done sooner

I put off studding my snowmobile for years. I have always studded my previous sleds. I am glad I made the move at the end of the season. I put on a couple hundred miles and realized the traction and braking power I had and taming the icy corners without feeling like I was going to brake loose. It felt good to have some feeling of control. I did a double backer and studs every lug. I could have gone 3 studs per lug but I feel I’m not quite as aggressive as I once was. I’m approaching 70 and still can ride spirited. Studs will be a must from now on.

Finished installing my studs the other day. They are great. We have a lot of bare ice here in Maine and studs are a necessary addition to the track

Fast-Trac were great I called to ask a few questions they answered them. I ordered 192 1 3/8 single ply studs with double backers, they didn’t have a template online called and had it within a few hours, installed the studs I rode 750 miles last week I the U.P. worked great.
