JP Rath 236 Alto Trombone

REALLY great alto trombone for the price, i wont need to replace this for a very long time if ever!! Looking forward to playing this in orchestra and on my recitals!!

Great horn for the price. I gave it 4 stars because the slide was a bit noisy on delivery. It took me a little while to get rid of the scratchy sound on one sleeve. And, the counterweight is both unnecessary and in an annoying location. I removed it because it kept rubbing against my ear. The horn sounds, looks, and feels better without it. Otherwise I definitely recommend this horn. (Really nice case too.)
