Great for aiming antenna
I have a Samsung TV with a decent signal meter and a ADTH tuner with good signal information. To use the TV though someone else has to watch it or I setup a camera on it and watch the camera on my phone while I'm outside adjusting the antenna. I have a nice monitor the size of a tablet so I could use the ADTH box just like this tuner. That said, where this signal monitor comes in is neither the TV or the ADTH tuner will find a weak signal and lock onto it so I can then check the signal strength. This tuner lets you manually tune to a channel and then adjust the antenna until you find a signal. I have an app on my phone to point towards a station but it's never been able to help get my antenna aimed right. I do need to use my little tablet style monitor to hook up to this meter but I have power near the antenna to run the monitor and this box so it works good. My antenna mast rests on a fence next to the air conditioner so I can reach it to rotate the antenna without going on the roof and set the signal meter and monitor screen on the fence.

Very good value for product cost
I think the Antenna Man Signal Meter provides very good value for its cost especially with the after-purchase support I have received. Rating would have been ‘Great’ if not for some product labelling idiosyncrasies, e.g., 'Sub-T' vs 'CC' for closed-captioning enable/disable on the remote, difficult to read (at least for these old eyes) diagrams on the user instructions. However, Tyler was extremely responsive and patient with my requests for explanation and help. The quality of the channels pulled in by the Signal Meter was superior to the original tuner on my decades-old Sony Bravia KDL-52XBR4. And the signal strength meter (which was the primary reason for my purchase) will definitely help if/when I decide to tweak my outdoor antenna position.

My second signal meter box, the first one works great decodes signals my Home Run unit doesn’t, the tuner works great! I like the way you can add channels without scanning and use it as an instrument as well as a every day tuner!
