Purchased for travel abroad for an organized trip.

Durability is the deal breaker.

I have purchased both the check-in closet and the carry on closet. I love the hanging closet design and the philosophy of creating the polycarbonate shell from recycled plastic. Unfortunately the shells are not thick or durable enough to stand up to baggage handlers when checked. I flew only a handful of times per year with each, and after a couple of years both shells cracked near the corner reinforcement. When this happens neither Solgaard nor the airline are willing to accept responsibility and the consumer takes the hit. A lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects is not helpful when the shells themselves are brittle against baggage handlers. Alas, a politely worded response from Solgaard attempting to highlight what I like about the product will not be enough for me to get burnt a 3rd time.

Best luggage we have ever owned.

Just got home from a cruise and the carry on origins and check-in large performed amazingly. The hang up organizer is a game changer. No reason to unpack to dresser drawers, just hang it up and you are done.
