Recently I have been making fisherman hats for my brothers and this beautiful stamp reminds of when they were young and would fish from the rocks with my dad , sometimes well into the night when the mackerel came in . For breakfast my dad would make them mackerel in rolled oats and our wee dog had to have some too. It’s amazing how such a seemingly small item could trigger happy memories. It printed beautifully first time too .
