I have tried headbands from very common popular athletic companies. This worked really well on my curly thick hair. I tried it on the treadmill and on the road! Worked! Would not budge. I didn’t have to think about it and I can just run. I will definitely purchase more. I love that there are so many designs. I’ve only had this for a few weeks. I’m not sure the lifespan yet
