Rancilio Silvia Steam Wand Upgrade Kit to V3

First off, I loved dealing with JL Hufford and would have no problem recommending them. Now onto the steam Wand. I'm quite sure that I have a Gen. 2 Silvia. That being said, there is no way you are getting this installe without some modification. I needed to enlarge the hole in the sheet metal underneath where the steam wand is fastened with the 18 mm nut. I did it with a rasp (can be purchased at most hardware stores) chucked up into a drill. Once I enlarged the hole, I was able to start the nut and tighten it with a wrench. There are some You Tube videos that may help a bit but I did not see anything mentioning this problem. Hope this can help someone. Of course the part itself is great quality once you get it installed.
