Cricket 2.0 Hammock Stand (Regular)

Only backyard experience so far, but setup was easy and the Cricket was rock solid. I fit it with a Dutchware 11’ Netless and a Gen 2 Warbonnet Blackbird XLC - I wouldn’t want to go any bigger than those, but they fit just fine, and I like my head end pretty low versus the foot. Probably going to sell my Tensa once I try the Cricket in the wild, we’ll see!

Very solid but one of the tarp rods needed to be sanded down to fit in the hub…no biggie. Fit my existing hammock and tarp perfectly. As a lower leg amputee I find it’s a bit tricky to get the arch to stay in the hubs while setting it up. Practice or maybe even some kind of clutch strap to hold until I can get tension on it will fix that. All in all, I’m very happy that I can forgo my tent and use my hammock anywhere. BTW, I’m a moto camper and can now fit my entire “house” in one light weight dry bag. I love the Cricket 2.0 kit!

The cricket 2.0 worked great. When it first came in the mail, it was missing the tarp poles, but YOBOGear got me the parts quickly. The customer service is amazing. I do still have a few things to work out. My normal set up on trees is: tree straps, carabiners and climbing rings with a Hennessy. I am going to need to reassess, as that is just a bit to long for the stand. If I were to do a normal lashing, there would be plenty of room. I do love the stand and the company!
