Honestly, wayyy better than I expected!
They gave me final confirmation after requesting a picture of a dry fit of neck & body.
The guitar was lightly finished in some sort of satin finish, but not grain filled beforehand. So I sanded it all back and grain filled, stained, sanding sealed, and eventually finished with spraymax 2k gloss.
Fralin humless P90, Music City Savvy Bridge, Hipshot tuners, and TUSQ nut were all installed.
LOVE this guitar

Ok for a first time build.
I was looking for another source for my bodies, and thought I'd give AE a try. I received the package on time & undamaged (even though a large gouge in outer package). At first all looked good, then I noticed the neck didn't seat with the body (at the heal)
The tendon had about 2mill slop in the pocket. The body is a 3 piece with the grain running in both directions. The face of the guitar has a smooth side and a ruff open pore on the other. Then the body has had polyurethane sprayed on it, causing poly to get deep into the grain. I would have to plane the front and back 1/8 each side just to remove the poly, then that would mess up the neck. The grain and polyurethane make it almost impossible to do a traditional finish like TV yellow. I recommend having allot of pore filler and plan on doing a solid paint. Watch the neck!

Good kit for the money
the neck join could be better with CNC tools available and the bridge post are about 2 to 3 mm.out too far away from the nut to allow me to use a standard wrap saddle due the intonation but otherwise for the money, pretty pleased with it
