Easiest roll en ponte

The shank is wonderful, so easy to roll en pointe. I have been dancing on and off for many years. Worn and tried many pointe shoes. By far the shank for this model is the best for me. The platform is wide, balancing, no problem! Only thing I want is a higher heel. Heel slips. I had to sew the elastics a different to keep the heels from slipping. I love these.

Definitely a wear and dance/perform as is shoe - it’s quite soft, supple and moldable. My main issue was that the vamp was a bit too high for me, and that this shoe would do well with higher profile feet with longer toes. Warning that these shoes do die very fast! So be sure to glue or shellac before it starts breaking down and getting mushy. The box is wide at the metatarsals and tapers down at the toes but overall has a more square shape so watch out if you have very narrow or compressible feet.
