Terrible Shipping Process
I read a review of “Barbra’s Baby” and was very excited to find I could order it now, even though it was nursery I was not familiar with. I will not be making that mistake again! I was only allowed to select March or April as shipping times, both way too early for me. I’ve grown roses now for over 20 years, and am in what used to be a Zone 5. In 2024, we were re-zoned into a 6. But, climate change or no, no one in their right mind would plant roses in Northern lower Michigan in April! I used to plant about the 3rd week of May, so this is over a month earlier! The day the roses arrived, I still had snow on my garden beds. I am soaking the roses now, but will they survive? I don’t know, and don’t have much hope. The process for selecting a preferred shipping date needs to accommodate those of us who live in colder climates.

Outstanding quality bare-root rose. Impressed by the extra care and attention to detail of packaging. I've been growing roses for over 40 years and the quality and service of April & Ashley was very impressive. Will def order again and recommend.
