I don't usually leave reviews, but the Barrier Lipid Complex has earned one. I'm about to turn 45, and without this serum my skin tends to get dry, flakey, red, and dull. After well over a year of using it every day, my skin stays consistently hydrated and calm, and it just looks healthier. It leaves my skin feeling silky and cushioned without any heaviness or greasiness, and I love that it's formulated to mimic the skin's natural barrier. It's not the only Marie Veronique product I use. I've switched to the line exclusively and found exactly what works for my skin. Officially a convert.

Late to the party, but BLC is a winner

As temperatures change and seasons shift, I have found my skin getting itchy and dry in spots and, as I've come to learn in the past 3 years, if I have a problem, Marie Veronique and Kristina Holey have a solution for it. So, I finally decided to try the Barrier Lipid Complex and I'm so glad I did. In just a few days of use, those problematic areas are finding relief and my skin has a noticeable extra boost of hydration and plumpness. In the AM, I use one pump, coupled with a half-dropper of the Protective Day Oil prior to the All Day Age Day Emulsion and Color Free Zinc, which is a perfect combo; at night, I do two full pumps on slightly damp skin as a first step. Be warned: it doesn't smell great - mayonnaise comes to mind - but it feels great and the scent dissipates very quickly, especially if you are using another product after it.
