So much better!
I have the 192k/24b remaster of this album. It sounds really good, but the DSD256 is so much more engaging with a much more holographic presentation. The 192k version sounds tethered to the speakers, whereas the HDTT DSD256 is completely detached behind the speakers. Also has better tonal density and a more natural timber. Well worth the purchase.

Kenny Burrell – Midnight Blue
Excellent. The sound quality of the DSD is astonishing. I wonder why DSD doesn't get more attention in the audiophile community.

Like a forbidden pleasure
Wonderful transfer, such a terrific sound. Unmatched clarity and details with LP record (from Blue Note Classic Vinyl Reissue Series). The Analogue Productions SACD (highly regarded among audiophile community) does not come close. I've read, those famous sound engineers in charge, aim to "recreate" the original sound... In my opinion, they tend to betray the original recording. On the other hand, present work simply magnify the original recording and respect any aspect of it. Best digital issue, no contest. Well done Mr Witrak.
