I have a drawer full of holsters mostly leather but some kydex as well, this Kramer horsehide is far and above the others, it carries well and the construction is top shelf, well worth the wait.

Managing expectations

Kramer Belt Scabbards are my go-to for OWB holsters. Somehow they are more comfortable and more concealable than competing designs. Like a lot of people, I have a box of holsters that just don't quite meet expectations. I have never been anything but pleased with a Kramer holster. As much as I would like to rate my purchase 5 stars, the Kramer team needs to do a better job managing customers expectations on production and delivery timelines. The website lists 14-16 weeks as an estimate. I ordered my holster on Feb 28, 2024. I received an e-mail confirming my order and listing the same estimate. I received my holster on Dec 16, 2024. I have ordered holsters from Barranti, Milt Sparks, etc. When ordering custom leather I am neither a stranger to, nor afraid of long lead times. My Kramer holsters really have been worth the wait. I believe to maintain a loyal customer base, Kramer Leather needs to do a better job setting expectations on delivery. I know I am not alone on this observation. Just in case readers of my review didn't notice, the holster (like my other holsters from Kramer) is fantastic.
