I have never sat down and actually hand stitched something before. I learned how to do a back stitch (looked it up), running stitch (looked it up), and sew a pattern! It turned out great and I’m honestly proud of myself, it motivated me to actually learn something new.

I only just started learning how to use a sewing machine (this was literally like my second ever project) and it still turned out so cute!! I freehanded the little syrup shape and attached it with fabric glue to turn it into a sea pancake. Brittany was also super kind and answered all the newbie questions I had :)

Great pattern! Fiancé and I actuality just made our own sea flap flaps and we love them! Mine came out a little derpy but I don't sew regularly, but I can still follow pattern and be close enough. We'll get more In sure. She already said they need bat friends.
