2006-2014 Toyota FJ Cruiser Ditch Light Brackets

Disappointed

Brackets do not fit well. Attempted several times but was unable to complete install as it would require modifications to either the brackets or the vehicle. While attempting to install per the instruction video ended up chipping my paint due to lack of clearance. Bolts provided are sub par. The hex head stripped out before I was even able to torque down. Purchased another $30 product that worked well. Another $90 dollars wasted.

A little disappointed

I purchased these brackets because I read many reviews about how well they fit. Unfortunately I did not have the same experience. I honestly had the worse experience trying to get these to fit. I spent 4 hours working on this project, then called it a day even though I wasnt done. •After bracket install there was no way to get the cowls back on without cutting them. The brackets are much thicker than the original gap. I used my dremel to make the cuts. •There were 4 clips provided, however you will also need 4 more clips that are a different style, which were not provided. Some things that added more stress to the install were •I have to wait until I get new clips before I can finish the project. •I have a snorkel, so its impossible to install the passenger side cowl without removing the snorkel. •I ended up adding a few scratches to the cowls. I hate writing a negative review, but this was my honest experience today.

4 washers are to small

Included washers are to small, one size larger would have been just right.
