Using with distress crayons

I am pressing a portion of a distress crayon into the pots of the palette. I can use them with my finger, dabbler or finger. Love it!

I love the cover and the slim silhouette. These are plastic so the medium tends to "bead" rather than pool when water is added. So to achieve lighter shades of a color, it is easier to allow two or more circles to dilute the base color than to try to mix it in the same circle. It would be nice to have a grid etched into the cover so one could write the name of the color in the grid.

I haven't used it yet but plan to use it for water-coloring with the reinkers and also with the mica sprays
