Best before date is way to short

I was surprised to find that the best before date on my turmeric and arrowroot where both 4and 5 months from now. When I buy a large quantity of something like turmeric I want the best before dat to give me more then a year, this isn’t even half a year. Do you only carry products with short dates like this? I have had the turmeric before and was very happy with how fresh it was and the smell was divine. Not so with this batch. What can I do about this? Last time I had the turmeric it was from a store and the date was good for 2 years. I was also not happy that my order was addressed wrong and I had to go retrieve it. Luck that my neighbour phoned me to let me know otherwise it would just have been lost to me and a loss of money. Hoping that if I order again I won’t have this issue again. NS Guest
