Not well known, but a gem

I have about 7 Joe Pass albums so while not an expert, I have been listening to him for decades. Whether solo, studio, or live there is always something to hook you into paying attention. This album is certainly easygoing but that doesn't mean it's fluff. Everyone seems to be having a great time and for me that makes it a joy to listen to time and again. Even if this may be your first foray into the Joe Pass discography it is worth the time and cost in my opinion. Of all the albums I have none matches the "being there" vibe of this recording. The clarity, dynamics, tone, and sound-staging at time had me shaking my head and smiling. Nicely done HDTT!
