Different. I thought there wasn't going to be a less solid feel with the clip ins. But it's great.

After years of the small eggbeaters on road and mountain bikes I moved to an area with much rockier technical trails. These pedals offer a great flat platform for the rocky roads as well as the clips to get home. They work really well with the crankbrothers mallet shoe. A great all around pedal.
