Vienna Matelassé Coverlet

We ordered a Vienna Matelasse coverlet to replace our old bedspread. The coverlet is lovely, the fabric has a great feel, and it looks excellent in our room. We have an antique bed which has been lengthened to current day full size. We have a 14" mattress on a 3" platform. The coverlet has enough drape on the sides and foot to cover the mattress and look very nice (even with some anticipated post-washing shrinkage). If you don't have all that height to cover on a full-size bed, the coverlet may be a little big. Just something to keep in mind. I am very happy with the coverlet.

Leaves Me Wanting More

The quality and style of these is so beautiful, I have so much pleasure from dressing my bed in Peacock Alley linens I want my linen closet filled with different colors and patterns. Fortunately for me I have collected many over the years but still feel thrilled for something new even when it’s just a new color. They last for years with thoughtful use, just wonderful.
