Best bang for the buck for EJ25 headers

I bought this header because of the unequal length type, construction and the HKS brand name. And I was not disappointed. Car is 2012 Forester XT. Installation was completed well within one hour (cold engine) with ease. Everything fits really well. The complete kit from HKS with all necessary gaskets made it more convenient. The car now pulls much harder in the higher rpms. No loss of torque at low rpms, but throttle response around 2500rpms is now just a bit softer. I don't mind this trade off at all. I installed it without wrapping, because for daily use this is better for longevity. And I am sure HKS has thought about using the header without any wrap that they also provided a metal heat shield for the post collector pipe segment and a heat shield sticker for the oil pan. Lastly, Import Image Racing service is top notch! Ordering was easy, and the shipment arrived on my hand Just 2 weeks later (including being held at Customs on my end for about 5 days). This is not my first buy from IIR and certainly not the last.

10/10 header for its price, have them paired up with invidia Catless downpipe/ Crawford gk2 exhaust straight screams.

Fantastic for the price.

My headers see a lot of abuse. A lot of heat. A lot of anti-lag. A lot of shaking from rotational idle. My tomei failed. These HKS are holding strong over a year later.
