Wicking Hat with Mirror

HI Is there any way to adjust the mirror so it is looking over my shoulder. Now it is looking up towards the sky and I have to tip my head way up to see behind me. Is it possible to heat the rod and bend it?

I like it I have the headband also. I like how the mirror sits lower on my head with the hat.

Have tried it a few times and have not yet figured out how to adjust it so that I can properly see.
