Sanding Pad Holder and Mandrel, 1-inch

I am a "sanding snob" and needed this size for some very small bowls in the mortise. These worked VERY well, and did not affect the cut of the recess.

Works for for a short while until the Velcro fails and won't adhere to the sandpaper. However, was able remove the failed Velcro and glue replacement Velcro to the pad holder. That worked better than original.

Pads

Everything I’ve purchased from Woodturners Wonders works well- but not these. I’m not sure if it is the pads or the mandrel but the pads don’t hold for more that a minute or two of sanding. The hook and loop just doesn’t hold, especially when sanding in a tight spot (which is when one would use a 1” sanding system).
