This album is a best seller to have. The transfer quality in dsd version from the analog master tape is perfect. The sound is quiet and sweet. You can feel every musicians playing in your listen room. I highly recommend it.

DR14 & just lovely jazz

Please, HDTT, much more of this. Cleanly recorded without mixing excess, the instruments appear in their own space with perfect timbre yet the music is all of a piece. McCraven drives but doesn’t dominate, seeking texture over volume. Reid’s cello alternates between sonorous & featherlight. Vibes are staggeringly lifelike. Completely accessible modern music, no BS or atmospherics. Magnificent acheivement both as music and recording. Slight mains hum doesn’t detract but adds a sense of ‘live’. Martin
