Great product, I've purcased twice now from DYC, solid both times. My gun jammed a little, so it was a bit too dry by the time I went to peel. Make sure the inner part off your spray gun is clean (not the outside nozzle - inside!) Wheels next!

Impressed!

This was my first time spraying plasti dip and it came out way better then expected! Took a risk going right into a pearl but if I figured if it goes south or I didn't like it I would peel it off and start again. The product goes down and covers very well especially the black. Have to be careful with the pearl coat to avoid dry spots and runs. Distance, speed and technique are important. Having experience painting urethane base and clear definitely helped. Most importantly since you cannot remove any trash, debris of bug(s) that might fall onto the dip surface is an environment that is as clean and dust/dirt free as possible. If you do get something in the dip, remove it as soon you see it and hope the dip is still wet so it has a chance to level out after you remove it. After the last coat is applied and dry enough to touch yet still soft, remove any tape that is tight to the paint. I forgot to remove the tape under the gas filler door and even though I cut the edge of the tape with a knife it left a jagged edge but thanks to Gabe's advise at DYC, I was able to fix it with a Q-tip and Napththa which softened the dipped edge enough to 'melt' it back onto the surface. Great experience and looking forward to spray Burnt Copper on my Mustang.

Lots of Fun!

My son and I used this past Holiday season to have some fun and Dip a Tesla. We have never done anything like it before, so we watched all the videos, grabbed some extra tape and drape, and dove right in. We had a blast throughout the whole process. We made some solid mistakes, like applying too much base in a hard to reach spot on the door. Once we decided we didn’t like the way we had goofed up, we waited, let it dry, peeled it off, and did it again. This was one of the best Holidays we have had in a while, in spite of the pandemic and social unrest. Would totally recommend Dip Your Car to anyone who wants a stress free way to have some fun with their car!
