Embossed Glass Jar

I bought this because the old one I had accidentally fell and shattered. The old jar had a plastic lid and new jar came with a metal lid. I don’t like the new metal lid ands sadly, the old lid, which I saved, was just slightly smaller so it did not fit on the new jar. I mean, I get it, plastics aren’t ideal, but the metal lid doesn’t fit well. Not only is it hard to screw on, it leaks. Side note: A handle option would be great and might have prevented the accident.
