I have been very happy with the replacement Diamond Topper and backer plates I have purchased in my past two orders. Even more impressive was the contact I received before my last order was shipped confirming my order. I am guessing based on my previous order and current order anomaly they were suspicious that I made the mistake of choosing a 6” topper and backer with the remainder of my orders 4 items being 8” product. A large amount of our purchases are now now made online and we have never received customer service like this. Thank You AMERITOOL!

Excellent removal rate but deep scratches in the middle of my pieces

The 600 grit topper has a few coarse grains that stick up in the middle "sweet spot" of the disc that put deeper scratches into the pieces of glass I am attempting to grind and polish. I cannot avoid them since they are in the middle of the 4" swath and I am working on pieces of glass that are 2.5" wide. Do you have any suggestions on how to rectify this situation?
