Chain has broken already

This is the second one of these I have ordered as I love it, the first one lasted a year but then I lost the blue stone in it, completely my fault, so replaced with another a week ago however I was just sliding the necklace around my neck gently and the chain has broken near the clasp so not very happy with this purchase
