Black Blue Lug Sole Derby Shoes

The leather has a clean finish, and the blue sections look better than they did on my screen. I like that I can wear them with dress pants or a more casual outfit. The sole adds some height, although it also makes the shoe feel a little bulky at first.

I bought these mainly for work and occasional events. They look polished from a distance, but the chunky sole keeps them from feeling overly formal. There was a short break-in period around the heel, so I wouldn’t wear them for a long day straight out of the box.

These are a nice change from plain black Derby shoes. The blue accent stands out just enough, and the thicker sole gives them a more modern look. The fit was true to my usual size, although the toe area felt a bit snug with thick socks.
