Black Leather Chelsea Lug Sole Boots

I was looking for a simple black Chelsea boot with a little more structure, and this style worked well. The thick sole gives it a modern look and feels stable when walking around the city. The fit was accurate for me, but the ankle area felt slightly snug at first.

These boots have a nice balance between casual and dressed up. I’ve worn them to the office and also out at night without feeling overdressed. The leather has a clean finish and the sole has good grip, but they do take some time to soften up.

I bought these to replace an older pair of black boots, and these feel much more substantial. The side elastic makes them convenient when I’m in a hurry, and they look good with jeans or chinos. They are a bit heavier than lightweight boots, but that’s expected with this type of sole.
