Dark Brown Brogue Lace-Up Ankle Boots

I wasn’t sure whether the brogue pattern and chunky sole would work together, but the combination looks balanced in person. The zipper is convenient, and the laces still let me fine-tune the fit. They aren’t especially lightweight, but the weight makes them feel sturdy rather than awkward.

These have the look of a traditional dress boot but feel more practical because of the thicker rubber sole. I wore them for several hours at a work event and had no major discomfort. The upper creased slightly after the first wear, but nothing unusual for leather boots.

The leather has a clean, polished finish, and the wingtip pattern gives the boots a classic look. The tread felt secure on a wet sidewalk, which was one of the main reasons I bought them. I usually wear medium-width shoes, and these were comfortably snug with regular socks.
