The fringe detail is noticeable without looking overdone, and the thick sole adds a little height. I wore them for several hours at an evening event and found them supportive. I probably wouldn’t choose them for a full day of walking because of the weight.

These fall somewhere between a dress boot and a fashion boot, which is exactly what I wanted. They look good with tailored pants, but the lug sole keeps them from feeling too formal. The leather needed a few wears to soften up around the toe.

The high-shine finish looks really clean in person and gives a simple outfit more character. I like the pull tab because it makes the boots easier to put on. The surface does show fingerprints and dust, so I usually wipe them down before wearing them.
