Brown Calf Chelsea Platform Boots

I wanted a brown boot that looked more modern than the pairs already in my closet, and these definitely fit that role. The shape is bold, but the simple upper keeps them easy to style. The opening felt firm the first few times I put them on, though it has started to loosen up.

These add quite a bit of height without feeling like I’m walking in heels. The sole feels supportive, and the smooth leather gives them a polished look that works for dinners or smart-casual events. I probably wouldn’t choose them for an entire day of walking because the platform has some weight to it.

The pull tabs make these much easier to get on than I expected, and the elastic panels hold my foot securely. I wore them with slim dark denim for a night out, and the brown color stood out without looking flashy. The leather does crease a little across the toe, which is pretty normal after wearing them.
