Dream Wrap for Hot Area

I hosted the Mystic Petrol a couple weeks ago and we ended up buying it 😍 I wish I had a better picture, it is such a lovely color. Photos really don’t do it justice, though; it seems to glow in the sunlight. I live in a hot area and I have a big baby (nearly 20 pounds and she turned six months today), and this wrap was the perfect blend of airy and supportive. It is definitely more textured than any of the other wraps I have which I think helps my carries feel more secure. I have noticed recently that it can feel a little diggy in the shoulders if I’m doing a lot of baby wearing in a day, so I am keeping an eye out for something with a slightly higher GSM or a different weave. I think those changes would improve any digginess anyway… it’s tricky because i still need the wrap to be lightweight enough for the area i live in. I also haven’t perfected my back carries so I’m sure that will help with all of the above once I’ve mastered that. (Please enjoy the pictures of my back carry fail lol) either way it never hurts to have another wrap anyway 😜 I’m gonna experiment with some other options in the TBYB program to see if I can find something even more comfortable. In the meantime this is my perfect summer wrap! I’m so grateful for this program and my new wrap!!!

The one that got away... Mystic Petrol Woven Wrap

I regret sending this one onwards after my time with it via Try Before You Buy! The Mystic Petrol 1975 is SO beautiful and so easy to wrap with! As a complete beginner, I found a few basic carries I was comfortable trying, and had no issues. The fabric is thin and grippy. I think this would make a great wrap for summer. Adding this one to my wishlist!
