Great aftershave, unusual smell

As usual, Castle Forbes makes an incredible aftershave lotion; hence the five star rating. The smell, hmmm. Out of the gate, it smells fresh and clean, really nice. Then....... the dry down. It takes on a whole new sent; not good in my opinion: one star for scent. It reminds me of speed stick deodorant from the 80s, disgusting. Now, keep in mind that scents take on thier own characteristics with people's body chemistry. Just didn't do it for me. Different strokes for different folks. I will be sticking with the lavender scent.
