Great Mailbox

The mailbox is very well made and heavy. The keys are good quality and they give you all the mounting hardware you’d need. One design note: because there’s a cleat at top back of the box, it’s not possible to flush mount the box to a flat wall without the top being about 1/8” stuck out from the wall. A recessed cleat design would allow for a flush mount. You either have to chisell out an area behind the cleat or grind it off to get a flush mount. Customer service confirmed this.

Solid construction - mediocre install - numbers are meh

The box is large and construction is solid. You can tell that it will last a long time just by holding the unit. The outgoing mail flag left a little to be desired - it's just a stick-on plastic afterthought. The outgoing mail slot is a little smaller than I'd like but serviceable and our mailman has a key so it's fine. The biggest issues for me were regarding installation. The hanger at the top was a little too deep and stuck out too much (would have preferred a more permanent solution like holes for a bolt/screw mount and more flush). Maybe that's on purpose for water drainage? The holes for the anchors on the back are limited in size although had nice rubber washers for water proofing (very appreciative of the included drill bit). I just wish the openings were larger for more support. We ended up mounting it on a plate to ensure it was anchored properly. We also ordered different numbers as the ones included are kind of ugly.
