Excellent guidelines for creature creation borne out of clearly robust analysis of 5e gameplay. In my opinion this book contains the definitive framework for determining accurate CR of homebrew creatures in 5e (though the book itself will also admit there’s fundamental limits to that accuracy). The encounter building guidelines are also thorough and insightful; this book will be a go-to reference for me forever.

Love all of these books! They are excellent resources for running your game as well as helping you to simply enjoy your time with TTRPGs. I’m a proud owner of almost everything Sly Flourish has published and I can confirm my laziness has increased by no less than 73%.
