COBI USS Kidd DD-661 Destroyer: Set #4866

I bought this model ship because I’m a WWII history nut. The actual ship is a floating museum in Baton Rouge, LA. It was the ship used in the movie ‘Greyhound’. This is a great model of an old warship.

Very ingenious use of small pieces. I hope COBI will do more destroyers in 1/300 scale, like a US 4-piper, British tribal class, and German and Japanese destroyers. These would fill a big hole in fleet compositions.

I've been looking forward to a Fletcher-class destroyer for a long time. My Dad served on one in the 60's and early 70's and I remember being excited to visit his ship.
