Traveling made easy
Five stars. The Halfday Convertible Cabin Bag in Shadow is the personal item I actually reach for now.
It opens flat like a small suitcase, with two clamshell compartments, so packing is straightforward instead of the usual shove-and-hope. It holds a long weekend’s worth of clothes plus a 16” laptop in the padded sleeve, and it still fits under the seat. I skipped the overhead bin entirely.
The Shadow color looks clean and low-key, not shiny or loud. The water-resistant 420D Oxford shell and Taslan lining feel solid for a bag. Four carry modes are the real win: backpack straps that stow away, a shoulder strap, briefcase handles, and a trolley sleeve that slides onto a roller. Switching takes seconds.
Organization is better than most under-seat bags. Full-width mesh up front for passport, chargers, and toiletries, and the laptop pocket is easy to reach without unpacking everything else. After a few trips it still looks new.

Love My Cabin Bag!
I love my convertible cabin bag! It is the perfect size carry on and holds a lot more than I thought it would. It is really well made and sturdy. I couldn’t be happier! Customer service was phenomenal!

Great bag that could be perfect with very few tweaks
Size is perfect and maximizes space that is accepted as a personal item for airlines such as Frontier. Colors - it's nice to finally have a color other than black. Organization ability is great. I replaced the strap with another I owned with more padding for the top of the shoulder - and wish there was an adjustment buckle on each side of the strap to be able to completely get any slack out of the strap and leave it in place outside the bag. I wish the backpack straps were removable so I could leave them at home and utilize that space for other things. Finally, I wish there were a few storage accomodations in the outer zip pocket to put things I need to reach immediately or in the airport such as passport, pen, tablet stylus or a phone charger.
