I have many, many AC pieces that I love and with which I am very happy. I purchased this same tray a year or two ago and sent it back due to manufacturing flaws. AC graciously sent me a replacement which unfortunately had the same flaws as the original. That too was returned. The company that manufactured the platters shipped them to AC and they should not have done so. Both platters had a pit in the center and scratches that should have been polished out. I figured the manufacturer was experiencing some problems that with time would be ironed out. A couple of years later I decided to give it another try, and while the imperfections in this new tray are not as severe as they had been with the previous two, they are still there. The design is lovely, but the execution is careless. I am currently arguing with myself ~ I want the platter, but I know I’ll never enjoy it in its current condition and I’ll be returning it as well.
