Rebel Romance x Abi Perry Purrfect Cats T-Shirt

Great looking cats T-shirt but I dislike the fabric

I have the boxy tees and the dresses which are so soft and pleasant to touch, this Purrfect Cats T-shirt states the same amount of cotton, 95%, so it seemed an obvious purchase as I assumed it would feel the same, and I really loved the design. But it feels so totally different to the other items I already own and love. It feels quite like an unpleasant nylon or polyester mix fabric, not like one that has a high cotton content. I can't bear to touch it or feel it on my skin. I hand washed it which has helped a bit, but I honestly don't know if I can bring myself to wear it. I don't understand why it feels so different to the other items I've bought from Rebel Romance which are meant to have the same cotton content.
