Solar-Powered Cooling Hat – Dual Fan Ventilation & UV Protection

I think in theory, the concept of this is very cool, but it’s poorly executed. Firstly, shipping took a significantly longer time than expected and tracking was made to be difficult, so I couldn’t really check to see updates on its location. Secondly, when it finally did arrive, I had a handful of issues with the fit and construction. The cap adjustment strap is not very accommodating so there is a lot of slippage. And the fans themselves were incredibly difficult to put into the slots. It’s almost like the holes to snap them into weren’t big enough. I actually had to cut out some of the plastic with a knife. Lastly, the fans themselves, even at full charge, really do not create significant rough air flow for this product to really feel useful. I will say, I reached out to customer service earlier on and they replied rather quickly and professionally, so that’s a plus, but otherwise I just think this is a product that just really missed the mark. I would not order it again and would not recommend it to others. Sorry.

Hat is very well made and fits good. I didn't realize that the fans come on automatically if in the solar switch mode. Very nice. Because I'm older and wear hearing aids, turning the hat so the fans are to the front are a must. The shipping time is terrible. If you need this in a hurry, forget it. But if time is not an issue the hat is great.

One of the fans has a bent knob on it where it's supposed to attach to the hat and the other fan has a broken on/off switch. I emailed you and asked you to send replacement fans but have had no response.
